About us
Quantum technologies are among the most disruptive deep-tech innovations of our time, poised to transform industries far beyond the current scope of applications. While quantum mechanics have been applied for decades in devices like lasers and transistors, the field of quantum technologies—focused on harnessing phenomena like superposition and entanglement—is still in its infancy. Certain applications, such as atomic clocks for precise navigation or advanced medical imaging, are already enhancing our lives.
The quantum technologies industry is still at its nascent stage, and SEAQIA has been created to support quantum technology stakeholders in Southeast Asia and to foster the growth of our regional ecosystem.
Our objectives
To develop a connected Quantum ecosystem in Southeast Asia and facilitate exchanges and collaboration between all market participants interested in quantum technology
To increase awareness, educate, inform and communicate about quantum technology by spreading effective and relevant information among members, external stakeholders, potential end-users and general public.
To promote ethics and best practices for quantum technology in a collaborative, open, and transparent manner.
To represent the Quantum industry in relations with public and private institutions and authorities.
To coordinate access to infrastructure, foster applications of quantum technologies and build a world-class climate for the creation of jobs, quantum-aware workforce and growth in this emerging industry through dialogue with governmental as well as non-governmental bodies.
Members

Atomionics
Founding member
Atomionics is a Singapore-based startup building quantum sensors for resource exploration and navigation. Our sensors can build a 3D model of the subsurface, thus helping pinpoint resources critical for the energy transition, provide precise navigation, create a universal positioning system that works everywhere, as well as detect earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Entropica Labs
Founding member
Entropica Labs (EL) is creating the software layer to support fault-tolerant quantum error correction–the ability to actively remove errors from quantum computations and unlock the transformative applications of quantum computing. EL is a software company driven by a mission to build software tools that empower developers, researchers and domain experts to accelerate the arrival and adoption of useful quantum computers.

Horizon Quantum
Founding member
Horizon Quantum is developing a new generation of programming tools to simplify and expedite the process of developing software for quantum computers. By removing the need for prior quantum computing experience to develop applications for quantum hardware, Horizon Quantum’s tools are making the power of quantum computing accessible to every software developer.

S-Fifteen Instruments
Founding member
S-Fifteen Instruments Pte. Ltd. is a spin off from the Center for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore developing products for Quantum Key Distribution including the key generation source (for encryption), single photon detectors, random number generators and associated communication protocol software.

SpeQtral
Founding member
SpeQtral is a pioneer in quantum communications, with a vision to build and deploy global quantum networks. SpeQtral develops quantum-secure products and services designed to protect sovereign and enterprise telecommunication networks against classical, as well as future quantum based cyber-attacks. Combining both terrestrial and space-based solutions, SpeQtral aims to secure the world’s networks against the threats posed by the imminent quantum revolution and drive innovation in quantum communications that will serve as the building blocks for the future quantum internet.
